Tim Jenkins, PhD
Brigham Young University

Tim Jenkins is an assistant professor of Cell Biology and Physiology at Brigham Young University. He received his PhD in Physiology at the University of Utah while studying sperm epigenetics in the context of an infertility and IVF lab. This experience has made Tim passionate about epigenetic diagnostics in the male fertility space in particular. His research at BYU is still focused on using DNA methylation as a diagnostic tool in many disorders and in particular he is interested in identifying novel computational or technical approaches to utilize the predictive power of epigenetic marks in determining cellular phenotypes.

“I have chosen to work closely with Inherent because I want my discoveries to impact clinical decision making in male infertility and the Inherent team has the talent and know-how to take these ideas and make them impactful in patient’s lives.”
